Introduction
This role involves assessing and mitigating AI-specific attack classes, securing the ML pipeline, advising on compliance alignment, establishing AI security policies, and collaborating with various teams to enhance AI security.
The position requires a deep understanding of AI/ML technologies and a strong foundation in core security principles.
Responsibilities
- Threat model AI/ML systems across the lifecycle
- Assess and mitigate AI-specific attack classes
- Secure the ML pipeline and supply chain
- Advise on compliance alignment
- Establish AI security policies and standards
- Partner with detection & response teams
- Help govern sanctioned vs shadow AI use
- Create and monitor controls around AI prompts
- Continuously monitor the AI threat landscape
- Enable customer-facing teams
Requirements: Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Security, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in security engineering or related technical disciplines
- Deep technical knowledge of AI/ML technologies
- Deep familiarity with AI security frameworks
- Experience securing cloud-based, hybrid, or on-prem solutions
- Strong foundation in core security principles
- Hands-on experience securing AI/ML systems
- Strong programming and scripting proficiency (e.g., Python)
- Experience securing cloud and containerized environments
- Experience embedding security into MLOps and AI/ML pipelines
- Proven ability to communicate complex security risk clearly
- Experience mentoring engineers and serving as a technical expert
- Hands-on offensive security and AI red-teaming experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML security tooling
- Experience with agent frameworks and orchestration
- Experience in governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
- Experience in client-facing or consulting roles
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, or AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform security
