Summary: The HPE NonStop Systems Administrator role involves managing a highly available fault-tolerant platform that supports payment systems for retail and small business customers. The position requires expertise in server maintenance, OS management, and middleware support, along with a strong understanding of networking and security protocols. The role is remote and is expected to last for over six months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Server and Platform Maintenance and Patching Support
  • Manage OS dual personality Guardian OS and OSS
  • Expert working knowledge of Pathway CGI programming
  • Hands on experience of tools vi, make, bash and ksh shell scripts
  • Field experience and working knowledge of HPE NonStopServlets for JavaServer Pages (NSJSP) integration differences
  • Middleware support for Base24 (POS Debit) and Lusis Tango (Merchant Acquiring), mostly ICE SOAP, REST, oAuth, MQ
  • Understanding of Networking Load balancers, firewall policies, TCP/IP, NDM, UserAccess, IPAM
  • Understanding of Security Safeguard, Hashicopr password vaulting, ACL, users, ChronoStream DB feeds
  • Certificate maintenance of >100 certs
  • Baseline reviews and audits
  • Failover exercises for ARC test and Data Center Isolation
  • HSMs 132 HSMs supported, configuration, maintenance, key ceremonies FutureX and UtiMacho
  • Hands on access in data center COLDLOADS, HSM maintenance and key loading
  • Database support for SQLMX Database
  • Tokenization and Enterprise Key Management System for encrypting data at rest, 3 diff solutions supported
  • Performance Tuning and Capacity Planning for all NonStops
  • Manage internal SSD disk storage
  • Manage Dedicated Virtual Tape Backup for all NonStops
