W2 / 1099 Contract | Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM Techno-Functional Consultant - Supply Chain | Remote

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Techno-Functional Consultant with strong expertise across Supply Chain processes, Warehouse Management, Inventory, Logistics, Enterprise Integrations, SQL Server, and data architecture.

The ideal candidate will combine strong D365 F&O/SCM functional knowledge with hands-on technical expertise in SQL, data modeling, integrations, data mapping, and enterprise application connectivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide techno-functional expertise across Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management / F&O.
• Analyze and optimize business processes related to inventory, order management, fulfillment, distribution, logistics, and warehouse operations.
• Design and maintain data models, relational structures, and Entity Relationship models supporting reporting, integrations, and analytics.
• Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize complex SQL Server / T-SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Analyze end-to-end data flows across D365, WMS, ERP, and other enterprise applications.
• Support data mapping, transformation, migration, synchronization, and data-quality initiatives.
• Design and support integrations between ERP, WMS, APIs, middleware platforms, and third-party applications.
• Troubleshoot interface failures, data inconsistencies, connectivity issues, and synchronization problems.
• Translate business requirements into scalable functional and technical solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, architects, integration teams, and project leadership.
• Prepare functional specifications, technical documentation, process flows, integration specifications, and solution designs.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O / Supply Chain Management.
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain processes including:
• Inventory Management
• Warehouse Management
• Order Management
• Distribution
• Logistics
• Order Fulfillment
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Experience with complex SQL queries, stored procedures, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, ER modeling, database design, and data architecture.
• Experience with enterprise data integration, data mapping, migration, and transformation.
• Hands-on experience integrating ERP systems with WMS and other enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of APIs, REST/OData, middleware, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience working within large-scale, multi-system enterprise environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with supply chain transformation and process optimization.
• Experience with D365 Data Management Framework (DMF), data entities, or related D365 integration capabilities.
• Exposure to Azure integration technologies such as Logic Apps or Service Bus.
• Experience with 3PL, EDI, transportation, or external warehouse integrations.
• Knowledge of reporting, analytics, and enterprise data management.
• Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
