Summary: The Vulnerability Management Analyst role focuses on leveraging real-world security expertise to train and evaluate AI systems in cybersecurity. Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze vulnerability reports, CVEs, and real-world exposure scenarios across infrastructure and applications
  • Classify severity, exploitability, and business impact using established frameworks
  • Review and evaluate patching, mitigation, and remediation decision-making scenarios for accuracy and realism
  • Generate, label, and validate security-reasoning data used to train and benchmark AI systems
  • Apply practical judgment on what matters in production environments

Key Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in vulnerability management, security operations, or infrastructure security
  • Solid understanding of CVEs, vulnerability scanners, patching workflows, and risk prioritization frameworks
  • Ability to differentiate between critical CVEs on paper and those that are exploitable in real environments
  • Clear, structured, and analytical communication skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
  • Experience with exposure management platforms (Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, Wiz, etc.) is a plus
  • Background in threat intelligence, red teaming, or cloud security is desirable
  • Familiarity with AI evaluation or data labeling workflows is advantageous

What You'll Do

  • Analyze vulnerability reports, CVEs, and real-world exposure scenarios across infrastructure and applications
  • Classify severity, exploitability, and business impact using frameworks you already know

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of experience in vulnerability management, security operations, or infrastructure security
  • Solid understanding of CVEs, vulnerability scanners, patching workflows, and risk prioritization frameworks (CVSS, EPSS, etc.)
  • You know the difference between a critical CVE on paper and one that's actually exploitable in your environment
  • Clear, structured, and analytical communicator — you can explain your reasoning in writing
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments

Nice to Have

  • Experience with exposure management platforms (Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, Wiz, etc.)
