Summary: The Vulnerability Management Analyst role focuses on leveraging real-world security expertise to train and evaluate AI systems in cybersecurity. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze vulnerability reports, CVEs, and real-world exposure scenarios across infrastructure and applications
- Classify severity, exploitability, and business impact using established frameworks
- Review and evaluate patching, mitigation, and remediation decision-making scenarios for accuracy and realism
- Generate, label, and validate security-reasoning data for AI training
- Apply practical judgment on significant risks in production environments
Key Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in vulnerability management, security operations, or infrastructure security
- Solid understanding of CVEs, vulnerability scanners, patching workflows, and risk prioritization frameworks
- Ability to differentiate between critical CVEs and those that are exploitable in specific environments
- Clear, structured, and analytical communication skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Experience with exposure management platforms is a plus
- Background in threat intelligence, red teaming, or cloud security is advantageous
- Familiarity with AI evaluation or data labeling workflows is beneficial

What You'll Do
- Analyze vulnerability reports, CVEs, and real-world exposure scenarios across infrastructure and applications

- Review and evaluate patching, mitigation, and remediation decision-making scenarios for accuracy and realism
- Generate, label, and validate security-reasoning data used to train and benchmark AI systems
- Apply your practical judgment on what actually matters in production environments — not just theoretical risk scores
Who You Are
- 2+ years of experience in vulnerability management, security operations, or infrastructure security
- Solid understanding of CVEs, vulnerability scanners, patching workflows, and risk prioritization frameworks (CVSS, EPSS, etc.)
- You know the difference between a critical CVE on paper and one that's actually exploitable in your environment
- Clear, structured, and analytical communicator — you can explain your reasoning in writing
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments
Nice to Have
- Experience with exposure management platforms (Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, Wiz, etc.)
- Background in threat intelligence, red teaming, or cloud security
