Vulnerability Management Analyst

Job Description

Our UK based client are looking to onboard 2 x Vulnerability Management Analyst's in early September to join a wider project team on a rolling contract basis.

This role provides specialist and analytical support to an established vulnerability management function within a large enterprise environment.

You will help manage an increased volume of vulnerability-related queries across the business.

Candidates must be able to get started within the next 2-3 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational and analytical support to the vulnerability management team in a large enterprise environment.
• Analyse vulnerability data from Qualys or similar vulnerability scanning tools to identify issues, trends and areas of concern.
• Assess vulnerabilities within the security estate
• Support risk-based vulnerability management.
• Produce and maintain vulnerability SLA reporting.
• Track remediation progress end-to-end.
• Validate vulnerability findings that are uncovered.
• Investigate and resolve potential false positives, working closely with technical teams.
• Review and explain vulnerability data clearly.
• Analyse vulnerability trends.

Essential Skills

• Strong experience in vulnerability management within large enterprise environments.
• Proven experience analysing vulnerability data from Qualys or similar vulnerability scanning tools.
• Hands-on experience with risk-based vulnerability management approaches.
• experience validating vulnerability findings and investigating risks.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain vulnerability data clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
