Summary: The role of Senior Naval Architect / Principal Marine Engineer at ELIRE Infra Solutions involves leading the engineering, design, and verification of modular floating platform systems aimed at advancing clean energy and maritime infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design of hulls, pontoons, and connection systems for Smart Hubs.
- Define load paths, hydrodynamics, and modular assembly principles.
- Conduct or oversee FEA, CFD, fatigue, and hydrodynamic analyses.
- Oversee 3D model integration with architectural superstructures and utility systems.
- Collaborate with shipyards, class societies, and installation contractors.
- Contribute to proprietary hybrid flex-rigid connection IP and lead testing programs.
Key Skills:
- MEng/MSc in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or Offshore Structural Engineering.
- 10–20 years’ experience with floating platforms or offshore modular systems.
- Proven record working with shipyards and classification societies.
- Experienced with Rhino + Orca3D, Maxsurf, ANSYS, Abaqus, Orcaflex, AutoCAD, or ShipConstructor.
- Knowledge of BV, DNV-ST-0111, DNV-RP-C205, ISO 19901 standards.
- Sector experience in offshore renewables, port infrastructure, or floating LNG.

We’re looking for a Senior Naval Architect / Principal Marine Engineer to lead the engineering, design, and verification of modular floating platform systems, from hulls and pontoons to marine-grade mechanical and utility connectors. This is a key technical leadership role, shaping the foundation of scalable, safe, and sustainable marine infrastructure.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the design of hulls, pontoons, and connection systems (rigid, flexible, or hybrid) linking multiple Smart Hubs under operational and extreme conditions.
- Define load paths, hydrodynamics, and modular assembly principles including tolerance, redundancy, and disconnection strategies.
- Conduct or oversee FEA, CFD, fatigue, and hydrodynamic analyses to verify performance across global and local load cases.
- Oversee 3D model integration with architectural superstructures and utility systems.
- Collaborate with shipyards, class societies (DNV, LR, ABS), and installation contractors to translate design into fabrication.
- Contribute to ELIRE’s proprietary hybrid flex-rigid connection IP and lead prototype or model-scale testing programs.
Who You Are
- MEng/MSc in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or Offshore Structural Engineering (CEng preferred).
- 10–20 years’ experience with floating platforms, pontoons, or offshore modular systems.
- Proven record working with shipyards, classification societies, and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experienced with: Rhino + Orca3D, Maxsurf, ANSYS, Abaqus, Orcaflex, AutoCAD, or ShipConstructor.
- Knowledge of BV, DNV-ST-0111, DNV-RP-C205, ISO 19901 standards.
- Sector experience in offshore renewables, port infrastructure, floating LNG, or defence pontoons a strong plus.
