We are seeking a VMware vDefend Security Architect to support a short-term remote engagement focused on micro-segmentation, security architecture, and customer enablement.
The successful candidate will have strong experience designing and delivering VMware vDefend solutions, supporting workload security assessments, translating business requirements into technical designs, and working collaboratively with customers through workshops and deployment activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering sessions and technical discovery workshops with customers
- Facilitate security architecture workshops and provide VMware vDefend capability demonstrations
- Conduct workload assessments to support micro-segmentation planning and implementation
- Develop and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs)
- Produce high-quality design documentation, including security architecture designs and implementation guidance
- Create configuration workbooks and deployment documentation
- Support deployment planning and provide technical assistance during implementation activities
- Deliver customer enablement sessions to ensure successful adoption and knowledge transfer
- Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to align solutions with customer security objectives
Essential Experience
- Proven experience with VMware vDefend and micro-segmentation solutions
- Strong background in security architecture and workload protection
- Experience conducting customer workshops and technical demonstrations
- Ability to translate requirements into detailed technical designs
- Experience producing architecture documentation, configuration guides, and deployment plans
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders
