Role definition
Experience in Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware vSphere administration, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and Hyper-V hosts.
Hands-on experience in VM deployment, provisioning, cloning, migrations, snapshots/checkpoints, and lifecycle management.
Strong expertise in Hyper-V Failover Clustering, CSV, High Availability (HA), VMware HA, DRS, vMotion, and Storage vMotion.
Experience with enterprise storage technologies including SAN, NAS, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, Datastores, VMFS, and Storage Spaces Direct (S2D).
Knowledge of virtualization networking, including Hyper-V Virtual Switches, Switch Embedded Teaming (SET), VMware Standard/Distributed Switches, VLANs, NIC Teaming, QoS, RDMA, SMB Direct, and SMB Multichannel.
Hands-on experience with Host Guardian Service (HGS) and Shielded VMs for secure virtualization environments.
Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, incident management, root cause analysis, and PowerShell-based automation experience.
