Summary: The VMware HCX Consultant role requires an individual with active SC clearance to design, implement, and support hybrid cloud migration projects using VMware HCX technology. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, deployment, and configuration of VMware HCX environments for workload migration.
- Plan and execute VM migrations (vMotion, Bulk Migration, Replication Assisted vMotion) to cloud platforms.
- Configure Network Extension, WAN optimization, and secure site pairing.
- Assess existing infrastructure and provide migration readiness reports and strategy.
- Provide technical documentation, knowledge transfer, and post-migration support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve HCX-related performance or connectivity issues.
