VMWare GCVE Engineer

Summary: The VMWare GCVE Engineer role requires a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in VMware vSphere administration and a strong grasp of cloud technologies, particularly Google Cloud VMware Engine. Key Responsibilities:

• Minimum 5-7 years of IT Infrastructure experience with at least 3-4 years focused on VMware vSphere administration.
• Deep understanding of VMware vSphere architecture and components (EXSi, vCenter, vSphere Clusters, HA, DRS, vMotion).
• Proficiency in scripting for automation using Power CLI, Python, or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls).
• Experience with VMware vSAN or other enterprise storage solutions.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, with specific experience in Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE) is a must.
• Relevant certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Google Cloud Professional, Cloud Architect / Network Engineer is a plus.
