Summary: The VMware Consultant – Cloud Foundation role is a senior position focused on delivering VMware Cloud Foundation solutions within enterprise-scale environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Build, configure and support VMware Cloud Foundation platforms (VCF 5.2)
- Assist with upgrades and readiness for VCF9 environments
- Support vSphere, vSAN, NSX and Aria Suite implementations
- Deliver automation and provisioning using Aria Automation and scripting tools
- Contribute to technical documentation and operational handover
- Work collaboratively within secure, multi-supplier delivery teams
Key Skills:
- 2+ years’ experience working with VMware Cloud Foundation
- Strong hands-on capability across core VMware technologies
- VMware certification (VCF / VCP preferred)
- Exposure to Aria Operations and Aria Automation
- Automation and scripting experience beneficial
- Comfortable operating in structured, security-aware environments
- SC Clearance preferred, or willingness and eligibility to obtain clearance

We are looking for an IT Expert Senior with strong hands-on experience in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF 5.2) to support delivery across enterprise-scale customer environments. This role suits a senior VMware engineer or consultant looking to work on complex, long-running VCF programmes with progression towards VCF9 . (we will train and cert you to VCF9) You will operate as a key delivery consultant within project teams, supporting build, automation, optimisation and operational handover activities.
