Summary: The VCF Architect role involves leading the design and architecture of a VMware Cloud Foundation environment in a greenfield project. Occasional travel to Derby is expected, with a primarily remote working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and architecture of a VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environment in a greenfield setting
- Facilitate and drive requirements gathering workshops with stakeholders and external partners
- Define and document high-level and low-level designs
- Collaborate closely with delivery teams and suppliers to ensure alignment with architectural standards
- Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project life cycle
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) architecture and implementation
- Proven track record in leading design and discovery workshops
- Experience working in complex enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with VMware NSX
- Candidates with NSX expertise will be considered for a Full time role
- Without NSX, the role scope is expected to be approximately 50%
