Summary: The Veeva Technical Architect (PromoMats Expert) role at IBM involves leading architecture and technical solutions for life sciences clients, specifically focusing on Veeva Vault PromoMats for promotional materials management. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and configuration of Veeva Vault PromoMats solutions tailored for life sciences promotional content.
- Oversee end-to-end MLR/PRC review processes, submissions, expirations, and re-approvals.
- Architect integrations between Veeva Vault and systems like CRM, RIM, DAM, and MedComms via APIs or middleware.
- Define metadata models, workflows, lifecycles, and security policies across multiple Vaults.
- Guide document/data migrations and environment parity across SBX, Test, and Production Vaults.
- Conduct discovery sessions, present solution demos, and provide technical leadership through implementation phases.
- Stay up to date with Veeva releases and industry regulations (e.g., GxP, 21 CFR Part 11).
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Veeva Vault including PromoMats (at least 2 full-cycle implementations).
- Deep knowledge of MLR workflows, claims management, regulatory compliance, and document migration.
- Strong experience integrating Veeva Vault with enterprise systems (e.g., Salesforce, DAM, RIM).
- Hands-on configuration experience with Vault metadata, workflows, security roles, and API usage.
- Consulting background with client-facing experience and strong presentation/solutioning skills.
- Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Veeva certifications such as Vault Platform Administrator or CRM Administrator preferred.
