Key Responsibilities:
- Support VCF 9.x design and deployment efforts for an enterprise customer.
- Provide design guidance and technical leadership.
- Collaborate with customer infrastructure, security, and operations teams.
- Apply current VCF 9.x platform knowledge across architecture, build, and operationalization activities.
- Lead technical discussions with customer architects and operators.
- Produce defensible design rationale and operate independently on complex problems.
Key Skills:
- Current, hands-on knowledge of VCF 9.x architecture and operational model.
- Advanced skills in vSphere and ESXi.
- Experience with vSAN ESA design and operations.
- Knowledge of VCF Management Services Platform architecture and operation.
- Familiarity with NSX overlay and VLAN-backed designs, routing integration, and edge services.
- Understanding of VCF Principal storage options (FC, iSCSI, NVMe/TCP).
- Experience with identity and access management (VIDB, SAML/OIDC integration).
- Lifecycle and certificate management under the VCF 9.x model.
- Certifications: Current VCP and/or VCAP; VCF 9.x VCP/VCAP preferred.
- Experience with VMware HCX, VCF Operations, and VCF Automation.
- Proficiency in PowerShell, PowerCLI, and Terraform automation.
- Knowledge of routing fundamentals (BGP, OSPF).
- Experience in regulated industries (Financial Services).
