Vcf Automation Architect

Summary: The VCF Automation Architect role focuses on understanding and optimizing the VCF-A consumption model, including the integration of Supervisor and VKS services. The position involves assessing current designs, advising on optimization strategies, and collaborating with architects to develop a convergence plan for deployment models. The role is remote and is expected to last for over six months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand All-Apps VCF-A consumption model, including Supervisor and VKS services.
• Discover current state design for VCF-A (formerly Aria Automation), along with 3rd party requirements and integrations.
• Assess the customer’s current consumption model.
• Advise Schwab on areas for optimization with the new VCF 9 consumption model in mind.
• Work with VCF Architect to design a plan for VCF Automation convergence with VCF 9.x, accounting for new “all apps” deployment model and existing legacy VM deployment model.
• Provide guidance and assistance with operationalizing the new deployment model.
• Work towards a convergence plan of “all apps” and legacy “VM” deployment model.
• Deliver customized installation and operational workbooks and/or Guides for VCF 9.

Key Skills:

• Experience with VCF-A consumption models.
• Knowledge of Supervisor and VKS services.
• Ability to assess and optimize deployment models.
• Experience in designing convergence plans for automation.
• Strong understanding of operationalizing deployment models.
• Ability to create installation and operational documentation.
