Summary: The Varicent ICM Lead role is a 100% remote contract position focused on leading the design, configuration, and implementation of the Varicent Incentive Compensation Management platform. The position requires collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver integrated solutions that support incentive compensation strategies. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end implementation, including system design, configuration, and deployment. Strong experience with Varicent tools and integration with enterprise systems is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of the Varicent ICM platform, including system design, configuration, and deployment
  • Collaborate with business and product teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional Varicent models
  • Design and develop calculation logic, workflows, and reporting metrics using Varicent Composer, Reports Studio, and Web Admin tools
  • Configure compensation plans, quotas, crediting rules, and incentive structures within Varicent
  • Build and maintain integrations with upstream and downstream systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, HRIS) for data ingestion and export
  • Perform data modeling, transformation, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy and performance
  • Create dashboards and reports to support compensation analytics and business insights
  • Provide technical documentation, training, and support to end users and stakeholders
  • Participate in system upgrades, testing, and ongoing enhancements

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Varicent (formerly IBM ICM/SPM) development and implementation
  • Strong hands-on experience with Varicent Composer, Reports Studio, and Web Admin
  • Proficiency in SQL, data warehousing, and ETL tools
  • Experience integrating Varicent with enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Workday, SAP, or Oracle (preferred)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a direct client looking for a Varicent ICM Lead for a 100% remote contract opportunity to lead the design, configuration, and implementation of the Varicent Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) platform. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and technical teams to deliver a scalable, integrated solution that supports our incentive compensation strategies.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
