Summary: Knowledge Services is looking for a remote Validation Tester to support a 1-month contract with the State of Maine Bureau of General Services, with potential for extension. The role involves co-developing and executing test cases, maintaining test documentation, and validating vendor testing. The position requires collaboration with the project team and reporting to the Project Manager overseeing the AssetWorks project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-develop and execute test cases and maintain comprehensive test documentation.
  • Validate testing completed by the vendor and collaborate with internal quality assurance analysts.
  • Plan and review test models, translate business process documents to scripts, and approve entry/exit criteria.
  • Communicate status reports to technical and non-technical users and develop recommendations for resolving issues.
  • Conduct post-project reviews, define testing quality standards, and ensure adherence to defined processes.
  • Anticipate, identify, track, and resolve issues affecting the work of the Test and/or Application Teams.
  • Assist Application Teams in planning and executing component and assembly tests.

Key Skills:

  • At least 5 years of experience with validation and regression testing.
  • 1 year of project management experience.
  • Detailed documentation skills and experience writing test cases in a team environment.
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study (preferred).
  • Experience working with government agency programs (preferred).
  • Experience as a regression tester (preferred).
