Summary: This role at ORION WEB is for an experienced web-digital UX/UI Designer, focusing on project-based work in a remote capacity. Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement Information Architectures, User Journeys, and Responsive Designs for scalable website experiences.
  • Apply best practices in Digital Experience Design.
  • Conduct user research, persona development, user journey mapping, and information architecture.
  • Produce wireframes and interactive UI prototypes.
  • Create high-fidelity, mobile-first, responsive designs using User Centred Design (UCD) principles.
  • Utilize Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud suites, including Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Build and maintain design systems, component and pattern libraries.
  • Communicate clearly with client stakeholders, present design work, and run workshops.
  • Collaborate with developers, project managers, and business analysts.

Role Description : This is a project-based, outside-lR35 contract remote opportunity for an experienced web-digital UX/UI Designer at ORION WEB. The UX/UI Designer will be responsible for implementing well-thought Information Architectures, User Journeys and Responsive Designs for scalable website experiences while applying best practices in Digital Experience Design. Please note that we require you to be based in the UK or an EMEA Time Zone (UTC 0 to UTC +3 or similar) to ensure coverage during core UK working hours. Contract market rates offered based on seniority.

Required Proficiency and Demonstrable Experience in :

  • 3+ years experience in end-to-end UX/UI Design for the web, ideally in competitive digital agency environments
  • Current WCAG accessibility standards
  • User research, persona development, user journey mapping, and information architecture
  • Producing wireframes and interactive UI prototypes
  • Producing high-fidelity, mobile-first, responsive designs using User Centred Design (UCD) principles
  • Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud suites including Illustrator and Photoshop
