We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior UX/UI Designer to contribute to key product initiatives within a fast-moving fintech startup. This project-based contract role is ideal for entrepreneurial individuals who value autonomy, strategic input, and the opportunity to work in an outcome-driven environment.

As a Senior Designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and impactful user experiences across a complex fintech platform. You will lead the design of end-to-end user journeys, interaction flows, and high-fidelity prototypes using Figma. Your work will directly influence how users interact with in-app experiences, including navigation, onboarding flows, and guided tours.

A strong understanding of information architecture, usability principles, and visual hierarchy will be essential to success in this role. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in fintech design, preferably within startup or scale-up environments. You should thrive in scenarios that require independent UX thinking, strategic contributions, and the ability to drive design decisions with minimal oversight.

* Own and design complete user journeys and interaction flows within the app

* Lead UX thinking on navigation, information architecture, and usability. Produce high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes in Figma

* Create and refine in-app onboarding experiences, guided tours, and supporting visuals

* Expand and evolve current design frameworks and component libraries

* Partner closely with product managers and engineers to translate requirements into elegant solutions

* Demonstrate proactive problem-solving and initiative in improving user experience across the platform

* Balance multiple workstreams effectively with limited guidance

Key Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Senior UX/UI Designer or Product Designer within fintech

* Comprehensive fintech design portfolio showcasing complex user journeys

* Strong expertise in UX strategy, interaction design, and user flow best practices

* Advanced proficiency with Figma

* Experience working within startups or scale-ups, preferably remotely

* Comfortable working in project-based, contract environments with flexible hours

* Excellent communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams Additional Information:
