  • Produce clear, actionable insights that inform design decisions, prioritisation, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure research is ethical, inclusive, and accessible, representing diverse user needs and meeting government standards.
  • Collaborate within multidisciplinary agile teams, embedding user-centred practice across discovery, alpha, beta, and live phases.
  • Communicate findings effectively to senior stakeholders, ensuring evidence is applied to service design and delivery.

£450/day (Inside IR35) - Umbrella engagement

Remote/London - once a month

We are seeking an experienced Senior User Researcher to support a Central Government department on key digital service initiatives. This predominantly remote role, with occasional travel to London offices, focuses on complex user research delivered to Government Digital Service (GDS) standards using the GOV.UK Design System.

The Role

Joining an a govnerment client with multiple in flight projects we're looking for a number of experienced User Researchers to work across these different projects. You will join established cross functional teams, you will lead and coordinate user research activities, ensuring evidence-based insights inform service design and strategic decisions. Engaging as ayou will guide teams on best practice, advocate for user-centred approaches, and influence stakeholders to deliver services that meet user needs.
