Summary: The User Researcher role focuses on enhancing user-centered digital services within the Government Digital Service (GDS) framework. The position requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with GDS standards while conducting user research. The role is fully remote and offers a competitive daily rate. The contract duration ranges from 1 to 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct user research across the service life cycle (discovery, Alpha, beta, live)
- Use a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Translate research findings into clear, actionable insights
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, developers, and stakeholders
- Ensure research aligns with GDS Service Standard and best practice
- Support teams in making evidence-based, user-centred decisions
