Summary: The User Researcher role involves conducting qualitative and quantitative research for a digital memorial project with a government client. Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting qualitative and quantitative research to understand users’ needs, behaviours and motivations
- Using a range of user research methods including interviews, surveys, usability testing and ethnographic studies
- Analysing research data to generate insights and identify patterns
- Conducting research ethically, ensuring privacy and consent
- Conducting research which complies with relevant policies and standards
- Working with multidisciplinary teams to integrate user insights into design and development
- Advocating for user needs and influencing stakeholders to prioritise them
- Applying the GOV.UK service manual, service standards, design principles and WCAG 2.2 standards
- Articulating user needs and frustrations using appropriate written, visual and verbal methods
Key Skills:

- Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Strong analytical skills to generate insights from research data

My client is a global IT consultancy. They are on the hunt for a User Researcher to work with a government client on a digital memorial project. This is a highly sensitive project which is dealing with very high-level stakeholders. All applicants must have experience working with sensitive or high-profile stakeholders (e.g. government, judiciary, COBR, Parliament). You must be able to start within two weeks.
