Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding and applying a range of user research methods correctly for different life cycle phases, and advising others on these methods
  • Communicating insights from research in a clear and impactful way that drives change in the design of services and informs policy and proposition
  • Establishing an effective user centred design culture in a team, and supporting them to embed user centred design practices into their agile workflow
  • Convincing senior stakeholders about the benefits of adopting a user-centred approach, based on evidence
  • Establishing and applying ethical research standards and practices to ensure the safeguarding and wellbeing of participants and researchers
  • Researching diverse audiences to help teams deliver accessible and inclusive digital services
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including policy, operations, product, delivery, system design and user-centred design
  • Advocating for user-centred and inclusive design practices across the organisation
  • Supporting the development of service strategies and roadmaps for transformation

User Researcher - SC Cleared - remote - £450 - £550 per day (inside IR35)

My client is looking for a User Researcher who has extensive experience in the Public Sector, and with Government Digital Services (GDS).

  • As a User Researcher we need someone that has experience in understanding and applying a range of user research methods correctly for different life cycle phases, and advising others on these methods
  • Communicating insights from research in a clear and impactful way that drives change in the design of services and informs policy and proposition
  • Establishing an effective user centred design culture in a team, and supporting them to embed user centred design practices into their agile workflow
  • Convincing senior stakeholders about the benefits of adopting a user-centred approach, based on evidence
  • establishing and applying ethical research standards and practices to ensure the safeguarding and wellbeing of participants and researchers.

This role is inside IR35 and will require working under the direction of the client delivery manager as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will follow established delivery processes and working practices

Due to the nature of the work, candidates should meet the relevant residency requirements. If applicable, reserved post nationality restrictions will be confirmed by the client.
