Summary: Our client seeks a User Experience (UX) Designer for a 3-month remote contract with one of the largest insurance companies in the U.S. The role involves designing complex user flows and workflows, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring UX solutions meet usability and accessibility standards. Candidates must have significant experience in UX design and be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design complex, multi-step user flows and workflows that support real business tasks.
- Translate approved opportunities into clear UX solutions.
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Apply existing design systems, standardized components, and established design patterns.
- Ensure UX solutions align with usability, consistency, accessibility, and scalability standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are feasible and implementation-ready.
- Produce clear design documentation and specifications to support development handoff.
- Participate in design reviews and iterate based on stakeholder and delivery feedback.
- Design within enterprise constraints such as policy rules, process dependencies, data, and system limitations.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as a UX Designer working on digital products, platforms, or applications.
- Demonstrated experience designing complex, task-based, or workflow-driven experiences.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional, enterprise environments.
- Experience designing for customers and business users.
- Strong experience using existing design systems and incorporating standardized UI components and patterns.
- Ability to balance consistency with usability when working within established frameworks.
- Proficiency with Figma.
- Experience working with customer journey maps or service design artifacts.
- Experience in regulated, operational, or enterprise-scale environments.
