Summary: The User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Manager role involves leading the planning, execution, and governance of UAT for a consultancy specializing in business and digital transformation. The role is critical for ensuring that solutions meet business needs and are validated by end users prior to go-live. The position is remote with occasional in-person workshops and has a project duration of 2 months with possible extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the UAT strategy and detailed test plan aligned with the programme timeline
- Coordinate with workstream leads and subject matter experts to define test scenarios and acceptance criteria
- Facilitate the preparation of test scripts and ensure appropriate test data is in place
- Manage UAT execution, tracking progress, capturing results, and resolving defects
- Support and train business testers to ensure consistency and accuracy in test execution
- Ensure alignment between UAT, business readiness, and training activities
Key Skills:
- Proven track record of leading UAT within multi-stream transformation programmes
- Formal qualification in testing, business analysis, or project delivery (e.g. ISTQB, BCS)
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Structured approach to managing UAT
- Experience in consulting roles at Senior Consultant, Manager, or Senior Manager levels
