Unity Developer

Role Overview

Contract Type: Freelance / Contract

Location: Remote (with occasional on-site meetings if required)

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 3–5 months (estimated)

Commitment: Full-time preferred

We are seeking a skilled Unity Developer with strong C# programming expertise and experience integrating Unity applications into mobile environments (preferably with React Native ). The project involves working on a large-scale 3D interactive campus environment , supporting both optimization of existing content and integration of new spatial assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize performance and usability of an existing 3D digital twin using Unity
• Integrate a newly developed 3D model into the current Unity environment
• Enhance and implement data integration pipelines within the Unity experience
• Build and deploy features for indoor positioning (e.g., Blue Dot functionality)
• Develop a digital wayfinding system within a complex spatial layout
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mobile developers, designers, and backend engineers
• Package and support Unity modules for use in mobile applications (React Native integration)

Key Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in Unity (C#) development
• Experience building and optimizing real-time 3D applications
• Proficiency in mobile platform deployment, especially Unity + React Native bridges or SDK integration
• Experience with spatial mapping, scene optimization, and UI/UX within 3D environments
• Familiarity with indoor positioning technologies (e.g., Wi-Fi triangulation, Bluetooth beacons) a plus
• Ability to write clean, modular, and scalable code
• Strong debugging and profiling skills

Desirable

• Experience in digital wayfinding or navigation system
• Knowledge of GIS, mapping APIs, or location services
• Understanding of cross - platform build processes (iOS, Android)
