Detailed Description From Employer:

UK Tax Restructuring Contractor Remote UK | £750 per day PAYE | 16-18 Month Contract

I'm working on one of the most niche tax assignments I've seen this year. A FTSE 100 business is looking for a contractor to help deliver a large-scale legal entity simplification programme. This is not a role for someone who has occasionally been involved in a restructuring project. I'm looking for someone who has personally worked through the reality of legal entity simplification within a large multinational group.

That means things like:

  • Entity mergers
  • Liquidations
  • Strike-offs
  • Dormant company programmes
  • Holding companies
  • Financing entities
  • Ownership chain simplification
  • Restructuring implementation

The programme involves a significant number of entities and requires someone who understands the practical challenges of working through historic structures, coordinating with Legal and Finance teams and driving activity through to completion. The ideal person is likely to have worked in-house within a large multinational group and will be able to point to specific examples of delivering legal entity simplification or restructuring programmes rather than simply advising on them.

If your background is primarily tax reporting, tax compliance, Pillar Two, transfer pricing or tax governance, this is unlikely to be the right opportunity. However, if you've spent part of your career untangling complex corporate structures and helping businesses simplify legal entities at scale, I'd be very interested in speaking with you.
