Summary: The User Acceptance Test (UAT) Analyst will be responsible for testing the Oracle's Opera Cloud PMS system and the Hosted Colleague Advantage system within a large multi-national American hospitality client. This role involves collaborating with the Global PMS Team, conducting thorough testing, documenting findings, and ensuring the successful deployment of software solutions. The position is fully remote and requires strong communication and analytical skills, along with relevant hotel operational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the broader Global PMS Team.
  • Support the direction of the PMS Strategy & UAT Manager.
  • Acquire a technical understanding of the system and platform being used.
  • Thoroughly test solutions using relevant approaches and tools.
  • Conduct research into software-related issues and products.
  • Document, escalate, and prioritize findings/issues about specific testing requirements.
  • Identify risks and issues.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Create certification Sign-Off packet, deliver to appropriate parties, and obtain a signature for approval to deploy.
  • Prepare operational and technical release documentation and communication.
  • Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Flexible and adaptable to learning and understanding new technologies.

Key Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • At least two years of experience in at least two operational areas at a Hotel: Guest Reception, Housekeeping, Guest Services, Reservations, and Revenue.
  • Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Open-minded, solution-oriented, and a very good team player.
  • Must have Opera experience.
  • Experience in developing and executing a well-defined approach to problem-solving.
  • Highly organized to meet timelines.
  • Familiar with hotel application usage and strategic thinking to understand the business impact.
  • Experience with Opera PMS, Reserve CRS, PRIO, POS, and/or Guest Service Systems.

Job Title: User Acceptance Test (UAT) Analyst


Duration: 6 months
Location: 100% Remote work per central time
Pay rate: $50/HR W2 (negotiable)


Purpose:
The UAT Analyst will test Oracle s Opera Cloud PMS system as well as our Hosted Colleague Advantage system. The UAT Analyst will test PMS platforms and integrations. This includes researching, documenting, and escalating software specifications throughout the testing process. The position responsibilities outlined below are not all encompassing. Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required and/or assigned as necessary.

Preferred skills:
  • Associate degree (at least two years of college) or comparable work experience.
  • Experience with JIRA preferred.
  • Opera PMS, Reserve CRS, HotSOS, Colleague Advantage, Digital Check-In.

Education:
  • High school diploma required or relevant experience.
