Trial Lawyer / Civil Litigator | Remote

Summary: The role of a Legal Expert Litigation Contract involves supporting the development of advanced legal reasoning models by leveraging litigation expertise in civil disputes and trial-related workflows. The position requires designing realistic litigation scenarios and producing high-quality reference responses. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in civil litigation and excellent written communication skills. This is a remote position with a flexible time commitment of 20+ hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development of advanced legal reasoning models by contributing litigation expertise across civil disputes, motion practice, discovery, and trial-related workflows.
• Design realistic litigation scenarios (e.g., motions, discovery strategy, depositions, briefs, case analysis).
• Produce high-quality reference responses at attorney-level standard.
• Evaluate model-generated outputs using structured rubrics.
• Deliver detailed written feedback to improve model performance.
• Participate in onboarding sessions and calibration exercises.

Key Skills:

• Strong experience in civil litigation within a law firm, government agency, or in-house legal environment.
• Licensed legal practitioner with a J.D., LL.B., or LL.M. from an accredited institution.
• Familiarity with litigation workflows including motion practice, discovery, and case strategy development.
• Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
