Summary: Infinite Solutions Inc is seeking a TOSCA Test Automation Engineer with extensive experience in software testing and automation. The role requires a strong background in developing test plans, executing automated tests, and working with stakeholders to define testing strategies. Candidates should have a proven track record in leading teams and managing complex application environments. This position is remote and classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute automated testing for regression and performance testing.
  • Write test plans and test scripts based on customer requirements.
  • Develop Test Automation Frameworks and conduct functionality, performance, and security testing.
  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to document testing strategies.
  • Lead testing projects using the California Project Management Framework (CA-PMF) and PMBOK®.
  • Prepare and facilitate test planning and documentation for projects valued at $20 million or more.
  • Utilize HP Unified Functional Testing or Tricentis Tosca for test automation.
  • Manage complex application environments with multiple stakeholders.

Key Skills:

  • At least seven years of experience as a software tester.
  • Experience in writing test plans and scripts for at least five years.
  • Proficiency in automated testing and developing Test Automation Frameworks.
  • Experience in agile/iterative methodologies for at least three years.
  • Strong documentation skills with emphasis on detailed requirements.
  • Experience with California DMV business processes is a plus.
  • Possession of relevant certifications such as CBAP, CSTE, or ISTQB.
  • Experience with Tosca Testing Automation Suite for at least five years.

Infinite Solutions Inc. is looking for a qualified individual to fill the role of a TOSCA Test Automation Engineer

Mandatory skills

  • At least seven (7) years of FTE experience in the last ten (10) years as a software tester.
  • At least five (5) years of FTE experience in the last ten (10) years writing test plans and test scripts.
  • At least five (5) years of FTE experience in the last ten (10) years developing, configuring, and executing automated testing for regression and performance testing.
  • At least three (3) or more years of FTE experience in the last ten (10) years developing Test Automation Frameworks and/or testing software for functionality, performance, security, scalability, refactoring/regression.
  • At least three (3) years of FTE experience in the last ten (10) years working in agile/iterative waterfall/waterfall methodologies.
  • At least three (3) years of FTE experience in the last ten (10) years working with technical and business stakeholders to define and document testing strategies.
  • At least three (3) years of FTE experience in the last ten (10) years preparing and facilitating test planning per customer requirements.
  • At least two (2) years of FTE experience in the last ten (10) years using either HP Unified Functional Testing or Tricentis Tosca.
  • At least three (3) years of FTE team lead experience in the last ten (10) years on projects for the State of California using the California Project Management Framework (CA-PMF) and Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK®).
  • At least three (3) years of FTE experience in the last ten (10) years with Department of Motor Vehicle business processes. (California DMV experience is not required).
  • At least three (3) years of demonstrated FTE experience in the last ten (10) years writing and developing functional/technical documentation with emphasis on developing detailed requirements on a project valued at 20 million dollars ($20,000,000) or more.
  • Possession of at least one (1) of the following certifications in good standing (attach certificates to RFO response):
  1. Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
  2. Certified Software Tester (CSTE) offered by the Quality Assurance Institute (QAI)
  3. One or multiple levels of certification as a ISTQB Certified Tester by the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB)
  4. ISO/IEC/IEEE 29119 Software Testing Standard
  5. ISO 9001 Quality Management System
  6. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification by the Project Management Institute, in good standing.
  • Five (5) or more years of FTE experience in the last ten (10) years working with highly complex target application environments involving complex integration and multiple stakeholders.
  • Five (5) or more years of FTE experience in the last ten (10) years using issue management
  • Five (5) or more years of FTE experience in the last ten (10) years setting up and performing test automation using Tosca Testing Automation Suite.
