Summary: The Therapeutic Specialist role is a 12-month position focused on achieving commercial outcomes within the Liver Franchise of a biopharmaceutical company. The position requires building strategic relationships with healthcare professionals, executing omnichannel engagement, and demonstrating scientific expertise in liver diseases. The role is remote, with a preference for candidates located in Bristol or South West England, and operates under inside IR35 regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed territory sales, market share, and performance objectives for the liver portfolio.
- Develop, maintain, and expand high-value relationships with key healthcare professionals and decision-makers.
- Plan and deliver tailored, multichannel interactions aligned to customer needs and account priorities.
- Maintain strong product and disease knowledge (PBC, HDV) and communicate appropriate use and differentiation of therapies.
- Use internal systems and market insights to track progress, identify opportunities, and implement targeted actions.
- Develop and execute a clear, insight-driven business plan with defined priorities, targets, and measurable outcomes.
- Work with Medical, Market Access, Marketing, and internal stakeholders to deliver coordinated account plans.
- Proactively surface issues, drive resolution, and inform relevant stakeholders.
- Take ownership of personal performance and contribute to shared cross-functional outcomes.
- Deliver all administrative and operational requirements to a high standard.
- Act as a credible representative at meetings and events, delivering compliant engagement.
- Operate in line with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and Gilead code of conduct.

An exciting, opportunity has arisen to join the Commercial Liver Team as a Therapeutic Specialist working within the Liver Franchise.
Specific responsibilities
