Summary: The Testing Architect role focuses on leading quality engineering initiatives within a large Utility organization, utilizing the Tricentis testing suite. The position requires designing scalable automation frameworks and driving QA strategies across complex utility platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Utility sector and proficiency with various Tricentis tools. This is a contract position with a preference for candidates located in Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute enterprise QA and Test Automation strategy across utility applications and platforms
  • Architect scalable automation frameworks using Tricentis Tosca
  • Lead testing initiatives for utility systems including CIS, Billing, SAP, Maximo, OMS, EMS, mobile workforce, and customer portals
  • Develop automation solutions for functional, regression, API, integration, and end-to-end testing
  • Implement risk-based testing methodologies and QA governance standards
  • Integrate testing frameworks into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar tools
  • Drive performance and load testing initiatives using Tricentis NeoLoad
  • Utilize Tricentis qTest for test management, defect tracking, and reporting
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, infrastructure teams, and system integrators
  • Mentor QA teams and establish enterprise testing best practices
  • Support ERP implementations, cloud migrations, AMI, Grid Modernization, and digital transformation programs
  • Create executive-level quality dashboards and release readiness reports
  • Participate in architecture reviews and ensure solution testability

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced QA Test Architect with deep expertise in the Tricentis testing suite to lead enterprise-wide quality engineering initiatives for a large Utility organization.
