Summary: This long-term contract role for a Test Operations Electrical Engineer is part of the Cross Functional Test Facilities Team within Engineer Operations. The position focuses on ensuring the safe and efficient operation of test facilities used for product development across various client sites in the Midlands. Candidates should possess relevant qualifications or experience in Electrical Engineering and demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning and problem-solving in control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe, smooth, efficient, and effective operation of E O Test Facilities.
• Demonstrate safe working practices throughout the role.
• Work across various client sites in the Midlands.
• Follow written and spoken instructions and interface well with customers.
• Pay attention to detail and work quickly.
• Utilize computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Adhere to company Health and Safety requirements, Risk Assessments, COSHH, and SDS.
• Engage in problem-solving related to control systems and test facilities.

Key Skills:

• A Level 4 qualification in Electrical Engineering or relevant experience.
• Proven experience with facilities, processes, equipment, and leading technologies.
• Experience in problem-solving control systems.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
• Ability to challenge existing thinking positively.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build credibility and trust.
• Full UK driving license.
• Knowledge of Fuels and fluid controls.
• Experience with IATF 16949 or ISO 9001 standards.
• Knowledge of ventilation systems and chilled fluids.
