Summary: The Test Manager role focuses on overseeing UAT and Business Integration Testing for a digital transformation project within a Government agency. This position requires strong leadership in planning, coordination, and execution of testing activities across a complex delivery landscape. The role is primarily remote and is offered on an initial three-month contract with potential for extension. Candidates must have significant experience in testing within public sector environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, coordinate, and execute UAT and Business Integration Testing.
- Manage testing activities across a complex delivery landscape.
- Coordinate multiple suppliers and delivery teams.
- Represent the consultancy while working client-side.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Test Manager on complex programmes.
- Strong experience in planning and delivering UAT and Business Integration Testing.
- Experience in integration testing through front end and API testing methods.
- Experience working in UK Government or public sector environments.
- Strong understanding of system integrations and test environments.
- Comfortable working client-side while representing a consultancy.

iO are working with an established and rapidly growing Digital agency in their search for an experienced Test Manager to join them on an initial 3 month contract basis
They work with global technology leaders to provide digital transformation services to a number of customers in industries including not-for-profit, financial services and the pubic sector
This specific project is supporting a Government agency who are going through a large Digital transformation programme.
You will sit client side and be responsible for the planning, preparation, coordination and execution of UAT and Business Integration Testing across a complex delivery landscape.
Must have experience in testing one or more of the following:
- Proven experience as a Test Manager on complex programmes
- Strong experience planning and delivering UAT and Business Integration Testing
- Strong experience in integration testing through front end and API testing methods
- Experience working in UK Government or public sector environments
- Strong understanding of system integrations and test environments
- Experience coordinating multiple suppliers and delivery teams
- Comfortable working client-side while representing a consultancy
