Summary: The Test Manager role focuses on leading the end-to-end test life cycle for a large-scale ERP transformation programme within the public sector. Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end test life cycle, from planning and design through execution and reporting
- Create and manage test strategies, plans, cases, reports, and quality metrics
- Conduct regression testing, business test execution, and defect management
- Ensure robust testing across ERP financial modules: Record to Report (RTR), Order to Cash (OTC), Procure to Pay (PTP)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine the best tools and methodologies for effective test delivery
Key Skills:
- Strong background in manual testing of ERP Financial systems - ideally Oracle eBusiness Suite Financials or SAP ERP
- Proficient in Oracle SQL for data validation and testing support
- Clear understanding of ERP financial processes (RTR, OTC, PTP)
- Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (eg JIRA, HP ALM, Zephyr)
- Familiarity with functional testing tools and structured testing methodologies
- Recent and relevant public sector project experience is essential

Rate: £400-£440/day (Inside IR35)
