Summary: The Test Automation Engineer role involves executing Software Quality Assurance activities, including test planning, execution, and defect review for various projects. The position requires expertise in e-commerce platforms, particularly with Sitecore CMS and Adobe AEM, as well as experience in testing integrations and ensuring compliance with security and performance standards. The engineer will also develop automated test scripts and conduct end-to-end testing across multiple systems to ensure product quality and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute Software Quality Assurance (SQA) activities for projects, including creating estimates, test planning & execution and facilitating defect review meetings with IT teams.
  • Reviews ecommerce /front end and back-office requirements and design comprehensive test plans and scripts for both manual and automated software testing.
  • Has experience working Sitecore CMS / Adobe AEM functionalities, including content authoring and publishing workflows, page creation, and editing processes.
  • Test integrations between SAP Hybris and other systems, such as payment gateways, ERP systems, and third-party APIs.
  • Ensure web applications meet security, accessibility, and performance standards through rigorous testing.
  • Develop and execute a detailed test plan for Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) platforms, covering functional, data validation, and integration testing.
  • Understand accessibility requirements based on WCAG guidelines and test interfaces using assistive tools such as screen readers (e.g., JAWS, NVDA) and keyboard navigation.
  • Write, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web-based applications, including cross-browser testing using Selenium with C# and Java.
  • Leverage extensive experience in the e-commerce domain to collaborate across multiple websites, ensuring product quality and seamless user experiences.
  • Conduct end-to-end testing with Oracle EBS supply chain systems.
  • Test complex B2B and B2C workflows, including multi-step approval processes, bulk order management, and data synchronization between systems.
  • Write, maintain, and execute automated tests for REST APIs using POSTMAN.
  • Perform post-product validation as required.
