Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of the project lifecycle for technical system and application migration projects from initiation through post-deployment review.
  • Define and document clear project goals, objectives, scope, deliverables, success metrics, timelines, and resource requirements in collaboration with executive stakeholders and technical leads.
  • Develop and communicate a compelling project vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, IT strategy, and operational continuity requirements.
  • Create and maintain detailed project schedules and work breakdown structures using Microsoft Project, with a strong focus on task sequencing and dependency mapping, critical path method (CPM) analysis, resource leveling and utilization optimization, and earned value management (EVM) tracking.
  • Lead project execution and monitoring activities, ensuring that all milestones are met within agreed timeframes, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Identify potential project risks, security issues, and data migration challenges; proactively develop risk mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Implement and enforce robust change management protocols, ensuring that all changes to scope, schedule, or deliverables are systematically evaluated and approved.
  • Serve as the primary interface between project stakeholders, including executive sponsors, business owners, technical teams, third-party vendors, and end users.
  • Lead recurring project status meetings, executive briefings, and cross-functional coordination sessions, ensuring transparency and accountability at all levels.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and proactive communication across geographically distributed teams.
  • Define and enforce comprehensive quality assurance measures to validate data integrity, application performance, and system stability post-migration.
