Test Analyst

Summary: My market leading client are looking to secure the services of a Test Analyst to assist with critical project work over the coming months. The ideal candidate should have a consultancy background and a strong track record working for Public Sector/Central Government customers. Eligible candidates must be available to start within a few weeks and be eligible for SC clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with critical project work as a Test Analyst.
• Conduct cross-device testing using BrowserStack.
• Utilize Ruby Cucumber/Gherkin for test automation.
• Implement accessibility testing using WAVE and pa11y.
• Perform security testing with OWASP ZAP and Dependency Check.
• Automate tests using Selenium.
• Validate data integrity using RESTful APIs and tools like Postman or Newman.
• Manage version control and collaboration using Git and platforms like GitHub or GitLab.
• Configure CI/CD pipelines for executing automated tests.

Key Skills:

• Experience with BrowserStack for cross-device testing.
• Proficiency in Ruby Cucumber/Gherkin.
• Knowledge of WAVE, pa11y, OWASP ZAP, and Dependency Check.
• Experience with Selenium for automation.
• Familiarity with Lighthouse and Javascript debug console.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and tools like Postman or Newman.
• Proficient in Git and platforms like GitHub or GitLab.
• Desirable skills include JMeter and BlazeMeter for performance testing.
• Familiarity with the GOV.UK Design System.
• Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines.
