Summary: The role of Terraform Subject Matter Expert (SME) focuses on automating and managing Genesys Cloud Contact Center infrastructure using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines. Candidates must possess extensive hands-on experience and expert-level proficiency in the relevant technologies. This critical position requires a deep understanding of both Terraform and Genesys Cloud architecture. Individuals with limited experience will not be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Terraform IaC for Genesys Cloud resources.
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
  • Configure and manage Genesys Cloud components: users, queues, flows, integrations, telephony, etc.
  • Implement secure API authentication (OAuth) and manage secrets using Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, or Azure Key Vault.
  • Maintain version control and change management across environments (dev/test/prod).
  • Ensure compliance with standards like HIPAA, FedRAMP, PCI, and maintain audit traceability.

Key Skills:

  • Expert in Terraform fundamentals: modules, variables, outputs, remote backends.
  • Experience with Terraform CLI workflows and state management.
  • Proficient in using terraform import for existing Genesys resources.
