Summary: Forbes is seeking a Temporary HR Manager for a 6-month role to support HR Business Partner functions and key HR programs. The position requires an experienced HR professional to provide strategic and operational support to business partners and employees. The role involves managing employee relations, performance management, and various HR initiatives. This position is remote and open to candidates residing in specific U.S. states.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day HR contact for a specific group of business partners.
  • Partner with managers to navigate performance challenges, coaching conversations, and employee development strategies.
  • Address employee relations issues, exercising strong judgment and emotional intelligence in assessing and resolving concerns.
  • Engage directly with employees to provide HR support, answer inquiries, and ensure a positive employee experience.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior HR leadership as needed.
  • Assist with organizational changes, including promotions and internal mobility.
  • Partner with VP and HRBP team members on mid-year performance management cycle in Lattice, including goal-setting, feedback, and reviews.
  • Guide managers and employees in using Lattice effectively and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Coordinate and support Lattice-related training sessions, including scheduling, facilitating, and follow-up communication.
  • Work with HRBP team members to analyze participation data, generate reports, and provide insights to HRBPs.
  • Support HRBP team members with execution of intern program, including check-ins with interns and managers and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Partner with VP, HR to manage learning and development initiatives and training materials for employees.
  • Co-host and present performance management information to employees.
  • Provide guidance and direction to HRBP team members for employee onboarding and offboarding initiatives and day-to-day employee requests.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and support HRBP team members in management of onboarding experience and procedures.
  • Conduct exit interviews, assess trends, and provide insights to HR leadership.
  • Maintain and track employee feedback to identify areas for improvement in HR programs.
  • Ad-hoc HR projects, as needed.

Key Skills:

  • 5-7 years of progressive HR experience with a focus on HR business partnership, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Strong judgment, emotional intelligence, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with managers and employees, providing sound HR guidance and coaching.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of HR compliance, employment laws, and company policies.
  • Solid presentation ability virtual and in-person.
  • Experience conducting exit interviews and analyzing employee feedback.
  • Strong business acumen and critical thinker.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing performance management programs; familiarity with Lattice preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Google Suite and Office 365.
  • Working experience with Lattice, ADP Workforce now, LinkedIn Learning.
