Summary: The Temporary HR Policy & Procedures Consultant will work closely with HR and casework leads to update HR documentation in compliance with legal and NHS standards. This role involves reviewing and revising policies, developing toolkits, and leading projects such as a 360-degree appraisal process. The position is remote and requires a proactive approach to modernizing HR processes. The contract duration is 4-6 weeks, starting on February 24, 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update and modernise HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and NHS guidelines (Agenda for Change).
  • Create and refine tool kits, templates, and flow charts.
  • Lead additional projects, including drafting proposals for a 360-degree appraisal process for the board.
  • Engage with the manager and HR admin through IV Teams in a supportive, remote environment.

Key Skills:

  • Proven expertise in writing and revising HR policies within the NHS framework.
  • A Band 6/7 professional capable of navigating a busy, evolving HR environment.
  • Familiarity with Agenda for Change processes and up-to-date HR best practices.
