Telecom Domain Solution Architect (Java/ Go/ Microservices/ Kafka)

Summary: The Telecom Domain Solution Architect role focuses on designing and implementing solutions using Java, Go, Microservices, and Kafka within cloud environments, particularly AWS. The position requires strong technical expertise in networking, DevOps, and containerization, along with effective customer interaction and team leadership skills. This is a remote position with a contract duration of over 12 months. The role is classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Platforms: Expertise in AWS and its services, managing deployments
• Good understanding of DevOps principles and practices, Containerization: Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes
• Networking: Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols (SNMP, NetFlow, NPL) and NMS
• Experience in design principles, architecture and solutioning
• Hands-on experience and should be able to develop, testing
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner
• Customer handling, presentation of design/solution and prepare documentation
• Highlighting timely risk, collaboration with offshore and reporting to customer and internal stakeholders
• Team leadership and work in overlapping time with offshore team

Key Skills:

• Go, Java, Microservices, Kafka, Influx, AWS DBs, OKTA, Impala (DB: Influx, NoSQL, Postgres)
• Design/solution architecture is mandatory with good communication skills to present
• Good knowledge/some experience on Akka, Scala based distributed big-data systems
• AWS Services experienced
• Network protocols knowledge/experience (SNMP, NetFlow, NPL), experience with NMS
