Summary: The Tele-Pulmonologist at Equum Medical is responsible for providing expert virtual pulmonary and critical care consultations for hospitalized and ICU patients using advanced telemedicine platforms. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tele-pulmonary consults for ICU, step-down, and inpatient medical units
  • Evaluate and manage patients with complex respiratory and pulmonary issues, including ARDS, COPD, asthma, pneumonia, pulmonary embolism, and ventilator management
  • Guide bedside teams on non-invasive and invasive ventilation strategies
  • Collaborate with ICU teams to support critical care management plans
  • Participate in virtual rounds, documentation, and clinical escalation processes
  • Leverage EMR systems and remote monitoring tools to deliver timely, high-quality care
  • Support multidisciplinary clinical pathways and care protocols

Position Summary:

The Tele-Pulmonologist provides expert, real-time virtual pulmonary and critical care consultations for hospitalized and ICU patients through advanced telemedicine platforms. In close collaboration with on-site teams, you will help manage complex respiratory conditions, ensuring evidence-based interventions and continuity of care.

As a vital member of the virtual care team, you will apply your clinical expertise to evaluate, treat, and manage patients with acute and chronic pulmonary conditions, support ICU teams, and drive excellence in respiratory care.
