Required Qualifications
Approximately 8–10 years of hands-on experience in technical writing and functional/project documentation. (Note: this reflects the incumbent's profile; adjust the minimum to fit your needs.)
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven experience creating and maintaining a variety of documentation types: user manuals, installation guides, release notes, data dictionaries, requirements documents, and training materials.
Strong proofreading, editing, and quality assurance skills with excellent command of grammar, style, clarity, and consistency.
Experience working within Agile teams and producing release documentation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
Familiarity with document accessibility standards (Section 508 compliance).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical staff and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification.
SAFe Product Owner / Product Manager certification or equivalent Agile credential.
Experience with Agile lifecycle management tooling (e.g., Digital.ai Agility or similar).
Experience with SharePoint and Atlassian Confluence for document authoring and collaboration.
Experience supporting change management tools (e.g., SAP ChaRM) or documenting system changes in an enterprise ERP/financial systems environment.
Familiarity with configuration management and process improvement practices.
Experience in a government/federal contracting environment; active or eligible for Public Trust clearance may be required depending on the client.
