Summary: The Technical Writer role is a full-time position focused on documenting SOPs, operational workflows, and internal processes for a global pharmaceutical client. The contract extends until December 2026 and is classified as outside IR35. Key Responsibilities:
- Create, review and maintain SOPs and operational documentation
- Document workflows, policies and business processes across multiple functions
- Work closely with SMEs to gather and structure technical information
- Standardise documentation templates and formatting
- Ensure documentation is accurate, compliant and easy to follow
- Maintain and update central documentation repositories and policy hubs
- Support process improvement and governance initiatives
- Contribute to the development of a scalable "One Source of Truth" documentation framework
Key Skills:
- Previous experience writing and maintaining SOPs and operational documentation
- Strong understanding of documentation governance and process management
- Experience within pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences or technical environments
- Excellent written communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to simplify complex processes
- Experience working across multiple teams and managing competing priorities
- Familiarity with documentation systems, shared repositories or documentation-as-code practices advantageous
