Summary: Dahl Consulting is seeking a Technical Support Specialist for a 6-month contract position in the Information Technology & Services industry. The role involves engaging with customers to resolve technical issues through various communication channels. Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers in a friendly, empathetic, and professional manner to build trust and effectively resolve technical issues
  • Respond to approximately 25 email requests and 10 phone inquiries per day to meet service level expectations
  • Actively manage individual queues and backlogs, resolving outstanding cases to maintain workflow efficiency
  • Document all customer interactions clearly, including contact details, reported issues, and troubleshooting steps taken
  • Support customer requests across multiple channels including phone, email, chat, and case queues
  • Assist customers with account and subscription issues such as billing, authorization, entitlement management, downloads, installations, extensions, crashes, and bug tracking
  • Apply relevant knowledge base content to resolve issues and escalate requests when necessary
  • Follow established communication protocols and escalate incidents appropriately
  • Stay current on product knowledge, system updates, and promotions through regular training and education

  • At least 2 years of experience providing support via chat, phone, and email
  • A customer-first mindset with a high level of empathy, patience, and professionalism
  • Technical proficiency and comfort with computer systems, software troubleshooting, and Google Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and the ability to adapt to various audiences
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills to handle high volumes of requests efficiently
  • Keen attention to detail when diagnosing issues and documenting interactions
  • Calm and composed demeanor under pressure, especially in high-stress scenarios
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities to identify and resolve technical issues quickly
  • Self-motivation and comfort working in a remote setting with occasional in-office collaboration
