Summary: The Technical Project Manager for Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Agentforce for Marketing will lead the delivery of marketing technology solutions, focusing on AI-powered capabilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Salesforce Marketing Cloud initiatives, from discovery to deployment and optimization
- Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and resource plans
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple workstreams
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
- Oversee implementation of campaigns and solutions using Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Contact Builder
- Coordinate with technical teams on integrations, data models, and campaign execution
- Ensure adherence to best practices in marketing automation and platform governance
- Monitor delivery quality, performance, and scalability of solutions
- Manage the implementation of Agentforce AI agents for marketing use cases such as personalization, lead nurturing, and campaign optimization
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to define and deliver AI-driven workflows
- Track AI solution performance and ensure continuous improvement
- Align AI initiatives with business KPIs and customer experience goals
- Act as the primary point of contact for business and technical stakeholders
- Translate business requirements into technical delivery plans
- Provide regular status updates, executive reporting, and roadmap visibility
- Facilitate decision-making and resolve conflicts across teams
- Oversee integration of Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM (Sales Cloud/Data Cloud) and third-party platforms
- Ensure data readiness, quality, and governance throughout project lifecycle
- Coordinate with data engineering teams on segmentation, reporting, and analytics
- Ensure proper testing strategies (SIT, UAT) and successful release deployments
- Manage release schedules and environment coordination (Dev, QA, Prod)
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and tools
Key Skills:
- 5-9+ years of experience in technical project management or program management
- Hands-on experience delivering Salesforce Marketing Cloud projects
- Strong understanding of Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, and campaign workflows
- Experience with Agentforce or Salesforce AI tools (Einstein AI, generative AI)
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional technical teams
- Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and data architecture concepts
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall methodologies
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Salesforce certifications (Marketing Cloud, PMP, Certified Scrum Master, or equivalent)
