Summary: We are looking for a senior-level Technical Project Manager to lead large-scale Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) initiatives. The role requires expertise in managing complex projects across various teams, including marketing, analytics, data science, and engineering. The candidate must have a deep understanding of MMM delivery cycles and the ability to ensure timely project execution. This position is remote but requires working in West Coast hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead planning and execution of MMM programs, ensuring timely delivery of modeling milestones
- Manage end-to-end project lifecycle including scoping, resourcing, sprint planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication
- Coordinate across data science, marketing, media, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on model inputs, timelines, and outputs
- Track progress using project management tools, and communicate updates to executive stakeholders
- Ensure data pipelines, modeling frameworks, and business deliverables stay on track with agreed scope
Key Skills:
- 8-10+ years of experience in technical project management roles
- Strong exposure to MMM or media analytics projects, preferably in large enterprise environments
- Familiarity with statistical modeling workflows (Bayesian or Frequentist MMM), even if not hands-on
- Proven ability to manage large cross-functional teams (data science, marketing, analytics, engineering)
- Expertise with project management tools like JIRA, Smartsheet, or MS Project
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Retail or consumer-facing analytics experience is a strong plus
