Summary: The Technical Project Manager will oversee the delivery of complex technical changes and solutions within the KMC Change Portfolio, engaging with various business units to align projects with organizational goals. This role requires a strong technical background in digital technology products and a commitment to agile methodologies, ensuring clarity on business objectives and customer outcomes. The position emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and effective communication with stakeholders at all levels. The contract is fixed-term until December 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and control the delivery of complex technical changes and solutions.
  • Engage with multiple business units to identify, plan, and deliver critical services.
  • Implement bespoke software solutions and translate technical architectures into delivery plans.
  • Communicate complex issues clearly to stakeholders and provide executive-level updates.
  • Support teams in planning, scheduling, and implementing changes and releases.
  • Manage vendor relationships and anticipate risks and issues proactively.
  • Ensure smooth handover to support teams and provide guidance on testing activities.
  • Deal with ambiguity and responsibilities outside typical project management scope.

Key Skills:

  • Proven business relationship management and solid project management skills.
  • Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and traditional project management principles.
  • Outstanding communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
  • Expertise in Agile techniques such as user story creation and dependency mapping.
  • Proficiency in tools like ADO and experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS).
  • Ability to manage suppliers and contractors effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with strong planning and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in delivering a range of technical projects across various domains.
